Seasonal Positions Available for the 2018 Season 

Job Description: 

WITDOUCK FARMS near Iron Springs AB (M.A 112004 RGE RD 202), is seeking 16 Seasonal General Farm Workers (NOC: 8431) from May 22- July 14 and August 20- September 29 2018. There will not be any work available between July 15 and August 19. Wages start at $15.00-$17.00/hr depending on work experience, availability, or if employees require accommodations. Accommodations are available. A valid motor vehicle license and the ability to speak English will be considered an asset. Some evening and weekend work.

Formal education or work experience is not required, but applicants must communicate if they are willing to commit to dates provided. Applicants must also be willing to work around both leafcutter and honeybees, be in good physical condition and work in a team environment.

General Farm Worker’s will assist with: handling bees, building/repairing equipment, processing equipment, placing and picking up equipment and bees in fields in southern Alberta. Performance bonuses may also be available please inquire.
