Dewer Apiaries currently accepting applications for the 2019 Honey Bee season. 

Job Description: 

Currently accepting applications for the 2019 Honey Bee season.  Would prefer a minimum of 1 year beekeeping experience.  Wages will be negotiated dependent on  experience of applicants.  Must be physically fit, comfortable working with honeybees and be able to work well together in a team work setting.  Applicants should be willing to commit to the whole season.  

Duties:

  • Hive management
  • Building and repair of equipment for Hives
  • Harvesting Honey 
  • Winter colony preperations

Basic English communication, Alberta or International Drivers License would be an asset.  Performance bonuses may be available based on season's honey crop. Hours will be between 32 - 72 hours weekly.   Job availability will be between May 1st  and Oct 31st depending on weather.
