- Driving equipment such as tractor, loader, feed truck etc
- Equipment maintenance
- Silage and Farming during seeding and harvest time depending on what is needed
- Versatile and willing to do all jobs as required and work in all different departments if needed
Feed Truck Operator: Operate, feed and mix rations for cattle. Maintenance of all types of farm equipment. Should have good attention to detail, some equipment experience required. Ability to work on own, be reliable and able to follow instructions. Have interest in accuracy of the rations and have some computer knowledge for bunk management software. Willing to do some training but should be comfortable operating a tandem truck and loader. Previous feedlot experience is an asset.
Processors/General Feedlot Work: Duties will include processing incoming cattle, pen moves, rehandling and computer input of cattle, bedding and general feedlot work. Knowledge of and operating of cattle handling equipment. If you're comfortable working with beef cattle and want to learn more about cattle and the feedlot industry but don't have a lot of experience this is a great way to start.
All opportunities will need transportation, minimum class # 5 and ability to work weekends on a shift rotation.
