Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Plan menus. Determine size of food portions. Estimate food requirements and costs. Monitor and order supplies. Inspect kitchen and food service area. Supervisor kitchen staff members and helpers. Clean kitchen and work area.
