Duties: 

General administration of heard health.  Check pens daily, and check cattle for illness and injuries.  Pull and treat cattle with medication.  Processing/treating cattle with vaccines and other medications.  Ensure water systems are operational and repair when needed.  Maintain accurate cattle records, and quality control/production records, using computer software.  Receive new cattle (tag, vaccinate, implant etc.) and assess cattle health.  Move cattle when required, sort to ship and load for shipping.  Assess and supply bedding when required.  General maintenance of yard equipment and machinery used for cattle care, assist with maintenance of pens, including scaping/hauling manure as required. General maintenance of fencing, corrals, gates, and holding systems.  General farm duties as required.

Weekend work is required.
