Full time position available on our Ranch and Farm.
Job Description:
Living Sky Beef is a progressive beef cattle operation located in Southern Saskatchewan, near Minton. Our business includes a commercial cow/calf herd, replacement heifers, small backgrounding feedlot and haying/custom baling operation.
We currently have an immediate opening for a full time/permanent equipment manager.
Duties will include maintenance and upkeep of farm equipment (tractors, loaders, feed wagons, swather, large square baler, ATV’s, etc…) to ensure efficient operation and performing equipment repairs wherever possible to reduce down time. Will also be required to maintain service records for all equipment and train/supervise other staff in maintenance procedures. May also be required to run equipment (feeding, baling, etc..) when necessary.
The successful candidate must have previous experience with farm equipment maintenance/repair. Previous experience with livestock will also be an asset. Must be a detail-oriented person who can work well with others or on their own. Long hours are required during certain seasons, but flexible in others. This position is physically demanding.
