Wage Rate:

Wage increase upon performance review after three months and periodically thereafter.

Duties:
Duties:
Hay crop duties: all duties related to irrigation with hand lines, pivots irrigation. Remove pipes from storage assemble and place pipes in assigned patterns in fields. Adjust the alignment of pipes, operate multiple types of pumps, and adjust valves to start and or adjust the water flow. Operate, maintain and repair all components of a pivot. Use proper material and methods to repair irrigation equipment. All duties related to the production and harvest of hay. Maintain, drive, attach and operate farm implements, tractors, and equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilize, apply chemicals, and harvest hay. Perform some maintenance and adjustments to implements, tractors, and equipment. Evaluate the condition of the hay crop/weather and adjust harvesting activity based on the evaluation. Maintenance of farm structures, loading, and unloading trucks. Removal of excess plant growth from farm grounds.
Cattle duties:
General administration of cattle health. Check pens daily (check cattle for illness or injuries.) Pull and treat cattle with medication. Processing/treating cattle with vaccines and other medications as required. Ensure water systems are operational and repair when needed. Maintain accurate cattle records and quality control/production records. Receive new cattle (tag, vaccinate, etc) and assess cattle health. Move cattle when required, sort to ship, and load for shipping. Assess and supply bedding when required. General maintenance of yard equipment and machinery used for cattle care, assist with maintenance of fencing, corrals, gates, and holding systems. General farm duties as required.
Weekend work is required.
