Job Description:
Currently seeking Farm Operation Foreperson on our busy operation. Prefer person with some truck driving background, Mechanical abilities, electrical trouble shooting abilities, occupational health and safety knowledge for being a team leader in our operation. Duties include: Checking fields for moisture, directing manure spreading patterns, Instruct drivers on field direction. Crop rotations will included silage, hay, cereal grains and Corn. We are looking for someone who can work on their own or with a team, has good command of English and Computer skills for daily work schedules. Should be flexible to work where needed and willing to provide training in areas where we need a team leader. Agriculture experience an asset but willing to look at all applicants provided they have a good job record, reliable work ethic and are willing to live in a rural area.
We can provide a year round position of a minimum of 40 hours per week but should be willing to work longer hours during peak agricultural seasons.
