Livestock: Cattle

Farm Machinery: Haying, feed truck, irrigation.

Duties:
Full time position available on our Mixed Farm.

Job Description:

All job duties related to the production of Hay.  Maintain, drive, attach and operate farm implements, tractors, and equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilize and harvest hay.  Perform some maintenance and adjustments to implements, tractors and equipment.  Evaluate the condition of the hay crop and adjust harvesting activity based on the evaluation.  Additional farm work duties may include maintenance of farm structures, loading and unloading trucks, removal of excess plant growth from farm grounds.

All job duties related to cattle.  Processing cattle upon arrival (tag, vaccinate etc.)  Pull and treat sick cattle.  Record keeping.  Pen checking.  Feeding and maintaining waterers.  Bedding Cattle.  Maintenance of pens, and fences.  General farm duties (cattle and hay) as required.
