Duties:
Full time position available in our Meat Shop
Job Description:
Currently seeking a person to help in all aspects of our butcher shop for Beef Cattle. Should have some experience and able cut meat as per our recommendations. Should be able to work every other Saturday – no Sunday Work. Willing to pay competitive wages according to experience. Must be reliable and able to work well with others and customers/clients.
Job Duties:
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package meat
- Remove bones from meat
- Grind meat
- Prepare special displays of meats, lace and tie roasts.
- Run band saw
- Help on slaughter days
- Able to:
- Work under pressure
- Fast-paced environment
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail
- Able to lift 50 lb.
- Hand-eye coordination
- Handle cold environments
