Introduction : AgCall Inc. has exciting field opportunities for agriculture professionals for the 2023 growing season. Product Performance Associates will inspect and investigate to gather facts and observations present in the field relevant to canola seed treatment product inquiries or for crop protection product inquires.  Successful Associates must be adaptive, make on-the-spot assessments and decisions, and be strong communicators.

Job Description:

Job duties : Responsibilities
•       Be available from mid-May through August, depending on the type of project
•       Connect with growers within 24 hours and be infield within 48 hours
•       Inspection and assessment of in-field conditions
•       Investigate and assess crop protection products
•       Engage and involve grower in the field inspection
•       Extend knowledge and education of pest threshold levels, seed protection programs and /or education of chemistry and plant interaction
•       Ability to manage customer conversations to ensure the most positive customer service experience possible
•       Data collection and documentation of observations into the online platform
•       Communicate to the grower, client, and AgCall management

Requirements
•       A degree that relates to the responsibilities of this position, such as Bachelor of Science, Plant Science, or Agronomy or equivalent industry experience
•       Solid foundation in-field scouting, including insect identification, plant symptomology, chemical interaction, crop injury assessment, and environmental or crop management   conditions
•       Strong observation skills
•       Effective communication and collaboration skills
•       Effective use of a Smartphone and/or tablet
•       PAg or CCA designation is an asset, however, not a requirement.
•       Valid driver’s license
