Full time position available on our Family Farm and Cattle operation.

Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable person interested in working with cattle and with our family operation. Excellent position if you like variety in your work! We are located about 10 minutes from Picture Butte where most amenities can be found or just 25 minutes from Lethbridge.
Job duties include:
- Checking the well being of cattle, able to pick out
- Treating the animals, processing, sorting, implanting, receiving and shipping of cattle.
- Working with the veterinarian on cattle health and treatment.
- Feedlot maintenance (fences, water troughs)
- May be some feeding of the cattle in all aspects
- Servicing equipment
- Silage pit maintenance
- Wintertime may include snow removal.
- Operation of equipment, ie. Loader, tractor, farm truck, etc.
- Yard maintenance, feedlot yard, shop, etc.
Qualifications:
- Great communication skills, verbal, emails, texting and in-person
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic math skills
- Ability to life 50lbs/25 kg
- Microsoft office, SSG Fusion an asset (training will be provided).
- Positive attitude
