Job Description:
Full time position available on our Family Farm and Feedlot . We are South Island Farms Ltd. – a family-owned and operated custom feedlot and farm in Bow Island, Alberta seeking experienced, knowledgeable and hard working folks.
Are you professional, positive, reliable, responsible, respectful, and a great team player? Are you hard working and have an overall strong work ethic? Are you able to keep calm, cool and collected while thriving in a fast-paced work environment? Do you recognize that working in ag isn’t always an 8am-5pm work schedule, but love it anyway? Then we want to hear from you! Bonus points for those that have a Class 1/Class 3, experience running/fixing farm equipment, or experience working with cattle.
Operating and fixing farm equipment; trucking commodity loads to and from the field, and to and from the mill; participating in team projects and day to day regular work activities.
