Cattle & Farm Position

Job Description:

Currently seeking person willing to work between two established cattle and farming operations.  Both farms have a cow/calf herd and Purebred cattle operation that are close together.   Vehicle will be provided for travel.  Excellent opportunity for a variety of work with owners that work well together. Job location about 10 minutes from Claresholm.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Feed and care for cattle across both operations
• Assist with calving and all aspects of cattle handling
• Perform general machinery maintenance and minor repairs as needed
• Oversee and participate in fencing, seeding, and haying activities
• Conduct a variety of general farm labour tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience working with cattle is essential
• Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible schedules
• Strong work ethic and commitment to high standards of animal care
• Basic knowledge of farm machinery operation and maintenance
• Willingness to reside on-farm as part of the compensation package
