Full time position available on our Potato Production Farm
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Serfas Farms is searching for a high energy individual to join their progressive team in potato production. Applicants are expected to be involved in all aspects of potato production including seed procurement, planting, growing, harvesting, shipping and storing of process potatoes. An ability to efficiently, effectively, and safely operate different pieces of equipment including tillage, planting, and harvesting equipment. Applicant must be capable of troubleshooting and proactively assessing problems as well as the maintenance of all equipment. $20-$30 per hour based on experience plus benefits. Housing available for suitable candidates.
Requirements:
- Class 1 preferred but willing to train right candidates
- Basic knowledge of operation of different pieces of farm equipment and implements.
- Must posses’ mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Efficient and well organized
- Good Communication and positive attitude
- Ability to work longer hours during planting, harvest etc.
