Job Description:

We have two positions available for a dedicated and detail-oriented Swine Production Specialist to join our operation. In this role, you will be responsible for the core lifecycle of our herd, focusing specifically on the breeding, gestation, and farrowing stages. Your primary goal is to ensure the health and productivity of our sows while providing expert neonatal care to piglets.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong “stockperson’s eye”, the ability to identify animal health issues before they become critical, and is comfortable performing technical tasks like artificial insemination, vaccinations, and surgical castrations. You will play a vital role in maintaining our high bio-security standards through rigorous sanitation protocols and ensuring our facilities remain in peak operating condition. This is an essential position that combines hands-on animal husbandry with the technical management of a modern production facility.
